New Taiwan Office in Phoenix Opens Despite Chinese Opposition

Taiwan has opened a new economic and cultural office in Phoenix to serve the growing Taiwanese population there, in a city that is home to the US's biggest hub for chipmaker TSMC. Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs reportedly received two notices from the Chinese consulate seeking to block the office from opening in recent months.
