McCaul, a former chair of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, is expected to meet with President Lai Ching-te and Foreign Minister Lin Chia-lung. He will also deliver the keynote speech at the Ketagalan Forum Indo-Pacific Security Dialogue. This marks McCaul’s third high-level visit and follows other recent visits by US lawmakers who support Taiwan.
