Taiwan Moves To Tighten Advanced Chip Exports to China

Lawmakers are proposing tougher controls on advanced semiconductor exports to China, expanding restrictions to cover integrated circuits, key wafer materials, components and other production tools. The proposed amendments would also target illegal transshipments through third countries intended to circumvent export controls.
