Li Chen-hsiu, Taiwan’s first lawmaker with Chinese citizenship, has lost her seat after being kicked out of the Taiwan People’s Party in a vote on Monday. The TPP cited concerns over her behavior as damaging to the party’s reputation. Li denies any misconduct, but said she would accept the party’s decision.
