Dates Set for Taiwan's Presidential Debates
Debates have been scheduled ahead of Taiwan’s presidential election in January. Lai Ching-te of the ruling Democratic Progressive Party, Hou Yu-ih of the main opposition Kuomintang and Ko Wen-je of the Taiwan People’s Party will face off on December 30th, with their running mates having their own debate on New Year’s Day.
