Employees at Micron's plant in Taiwan's Taoyuan are set to strike on Thursday over demands that the company share 15 percent of operating revenue with its workers as part of its pay structure. The company has seen skyrocketing revenue from sales of High Bandwidth Memory and other chips for AI data centers. Most of the company's employees are in Taichung, where the local union on Thursday will enter another round of negotiations with management. Discussions in September ended without an agreement between the company and the union.
