Labor Activists Say Pegatron Must Improve Safety at Indonesia Plant
Activists in Indonesia and Taiwan say an Indonesian plant run by Taiwanese electronics maker Pegatron has critical safety problems, with workers exposed to chemicals and placed in unsafe buildings. After the company ignored a report on the problems last year, activists are renewing efforts to pressure the company for change.
