Lai Speaks To Foreign Media, Makes Call for Peace
President Lai Ching-te addressed foreign media on Thursday, saying that Taiwan wants peace with China and that Beijing should stop its aggression towards Taipei. He took questions from several media outlets including the New York Times and Nikkei, whose journalists have been denied visas after publishing interviews with Lai.
