Taiwan Condemns China for Pressure Barring Taiwanese Scholars From Ocean Forum
Taiwan has condemned what it calls another attempt by China to limit Taiwan’s international participation. The Ocean Affairs Council says several Taiwanese marine scholars invited to attend the Our Ocean Conference in Kenya were denied entry, accusing the Kenyan government of acting under pressure from China.
