US Lawmakers Back Taiwan's Participation at WTO
Taiwan was forced to choose between being called a province of China or sitting out at this year's World Trade Organization Ministerial Meeting in Cameroon. It chose to sit out. Now US lawmakers are speaking up for Taiwan, saying that its exclusion infringes upon its rights as a WTO member.
