Japanese Lawmakers Call for Boosting Deterrence on Visit to Taiwan
Japanese lawmakers visiting Taiwan have called for boosting deterrence, suggesting it could help protect Taiwan. According to Taiwan's foreign ministry, they told officials that if Taiwan is safe, Japan and the region are also safe.
