Kaohsiung Fire Investigation
Investigations are underway into a deadly building fire in Kaohsiung, which resulted in the deaths of at least 46 people. Two suspects are being questioned by the police. The city’s Mayor Chen Chi-mai apologized Thursday evening, promising to take responsibility for the blaze and conduct a thorough inspection of current fire safety standards.
