Former Nantou County Chief Sentenced to 400 Years for Corruption
Former Nantou County chief Li Chao-ching has been sentenced to more than 400 years behind bars following his conviction on 111 corruption charges. Li was convicted of taking bribes and kickbacks from disaster relief projects after a 12-year trial.
