TSMC Average Pay Reaches US$136,000 a Year

TSMC’s 2025 sustainability report shows average annual pay and benefits of about US$136,000 per employee globally. The chipmaker employs more than 90,000 people, with total compensation including salaries, allowances, bonuses and profit sharing. In Taiwan, average annual pay exceeded US$30,000 for production workers and US$60,000 for engineering roles. TSMC says most employees view their overall compensation as fair.

A 2025 sustainability report from TSMC shows its average annual pay and benefits per employee was around $136,000 US dollars a year.
Total pay includes base salary, allowances, bonuses, and profit sharing. For Taiwan production and engineering roles, the average annual pay was over $30,000 and $60,000 US dollars, respectively.
TSMC says a majority of its employees consider overall compensation to be fair. The chip giant employs over 90,000 workers globally.
