TSMC Sales Jump as AI Boom Drives Demand

TSMC has reported record sales for July as the AI boom continues to drive demand. The Taiwanese chipmaker posted consolidated sales of US$14.5B, up 44% from the same month last year. The figure surpassed TSMC’s previous monthly sales record, set in June. The company has also updated its outlook for the rest of the year, forecasting sales growth of more than 40%. TSMC expects to set new monthly sales records in both August and September.

TSMC has also updated its outlook for the rest of the year, forecasting sales will grow by over 40%. The company also predicts new sales records will be set in August and September.

The company announced consolidated sales of $14.51 billion US dollars, up 44% from the same period last year, and 5.6% from June. At mid-July investor conference, the company updated its outlook for the rest of the year, forecasting that 2026 sales would grow by over 40%. At the same time, the company updated its projections for Q3 revenues which, if met, could continue to set new records in August and September.
