Flying Over the Hakka Village: Old Farmer x New Tricks
Guansi Township of Hsinchu has been known as the "Town of Longevity" in Taiwan since the Japanese colonization period. It's home to more than a dozen centenarians and many farmers who are over 70 years of age. Instead of drying sheaves of rice by machine, the senior farmers adopted an old-fashioned, time and energy-consuming, rice-drying method from Japan, all for making the rice taste better.
