Yeh Ssu-kuei has been fishing along the coast with his grandfather since childhood. The algae reef was his childhood playground and served as the village's fridge. With the change in times, there is now an industrial park in the Guanyin-Sinwu area. Yeh is committed to the environmental protection of his hometown and has proactively conducted in-depth research and discussions on tackling various issues. For more than two decades, he has influenced many to join his conservation efforts.
