Rejoin our cyclists as they continue their amazing bike tour in Taiwan. Follow them as they take a misty mountain ride, cycle Sun Moon Lake and finish up in Taichung. Get ready for a day of cycling ups, downs and beautiful scenery in Taiwan. We’re back with the cyclists from the Australia New Zealand Chamber of Commerce as they carry on their multi-day cycling adventure. This time the day starts in a rainy Alishan, Chiayi County as they set off among the misty trees on today’s adventure. First, the team pedals uphill toward the Tataka Visitor Center and visits the 2,700-year-old Lulin sacred tree. Unfortunately, the bad weather and road conditions mean that the team has to call it a day due to safety concerns and they are taken to their Sun Moon Lake accommodation for the night. Day three dawns bright and clear at Sun Moon Lake and the team sets off in high spirits. Today our cyclists enjoy a tour around the lake to soak up some Indigenous culture and the scenic lakeside riding before the challenging climb to Chikan Top. Along the way the team stops at a unique landmark, the Sticky Rice Bridge. The day ends in Taichung as the team cruises towards their hotel for the night.
