Taiwan is a haven for cycling enthusiasts, and renting bikes for a personal bike tour is easy. Explore south Taiwan by bike with our two novice cyclists Kris Kuan and Anthony Neely in this new episode of Pedal On. Taiwan’s bike shops make it easy to rent bikes for a different way to tour the island. They provide all sorts of support and can tailor a route to suit all levels of cycling experience. This time we’re following two cycling newbies Kris Kuan and Anthony Neely as they experience southern Taiwan at their own pace. Our pair take on the iconic Xinyumenguan cycling route through Tainan and Kaohsiung in south Taiwan. This route gets its name from the different places you pass through on your route: Xinhua and Yujing in Tainan, Neimen in Kaohsiung and Guanmiao in Tainan. Anthony and Kris start their journey at Wenheng Temple in Longqi, Tainan and discover a lot of tasty treats and beautiful scenery along the way.
