Amis Artists Embrace the Spirit of the Sea - Yosifu’s Cultural Canvas Ep2
The Amis people’s pursuit of beauty is rooted in the importance of respecting the land and sea. Yosifu and Iyo set out for the village market to buy traditional ingredients like fresh flying fish, turban snails, and several varieties of seaweed to make the perfect Amis meal. They share fresh seafood while discussing how they draw inspiration from everyday life. Eco-Art Village invites artists in residence to create in the name of Indigenous communities and protecting marine resources. They provide support for younger generations to ensure the continued preservation of the Amis culture in Makotaay Village.
