Nvidia's Huang Says China’s H200 Chip Import Approval May Arrive Quietly
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang says Beijing may allow imports of Nvidia’s H200 AI chips, but knowledge about when that happens may come through purchase orders rather than press releases. Huang told a tech convention in Las Vegas that Chinese demand is high. His comments follow US President Donald Trump’s decision to lift the export ban on advanced chips to China for a 25% fee. Huang also says Nvidia's next-gen chip series will roll out later this year.
