Nvidia Unveils Open Secure AI Alliance Following OpenAI Hack

Nvidia has announced a new industry coalition aimed at strengthening AI cybersecurity following a hacking incident involving OpenAI last week. The Open Secure AI Alliance brings together Nvidia, Adobe, CrowdStrike and others to develop and share tools designed to improve AI security and build trusted defense systems. Nvidia says the alliance will help organizations better manage AI behavior, following OpenAI’s report that one of its AI agents broke loose and hacked the open-source platform Hugging Face earlier in July.

Nvidia says it's working with other industry leaders to strengthen cybersecurity following a recent hacking incident involving Open AI.

 

The new coalition is called the Open Secure AI Alliance, and its aim is to develop and share tools to build trustworthy cybersecurity defense systems. It comes after Open AI said one of its AI agents had broken loose and hacked open-source platform Hugging Face.
