The US Supreme Court has upheld tariffs on billions of dollars of Chinese goods.
A group of importers had appealed to the court, arguing US President Donald Trump misused part of a trade act to vastly expand tariffs on China during his first term. That trade act allows a president to modify existing tariffs but the importers said Trump went too far. A lower court previously ruled against the importers last year. The Supreme Court upheld that ruling.
