Canadian PM: Ties With China "Predictable, Effective"
Ties between Canada and its second-largest trading partner, China, are "predictable and effective," says Prime Minister Mark Carney. The two countries struck a preliminary trade deal in Beijing which will see Canada lower a 100% tariff on Chinese EVs to just 6%. In exchange, China will lower tariffs on Canadian agricultural products.
