Taiwan's foreign ministry says it's paying close attention to Honduras' presidential race, as several candidates have said they supported re-establishing ties with Taiwan. Correction: The report mentioned that Honduras switched diplomatic recognition from China to Taiwan in 2023. In fact, Honduras switched recognition from Taiwan to China that year.
