Mexico Gets 90-Day Reprieve From 30% U.S. Tariffs

Despite U.S. President Donald Trump earlier saying there would be no further extensions to his August 1 deadline to negotiate a trade deal, both he and Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum have confirmed that Mexico has been given a 90-day tariff reprieve. Around 85% of Mexican exports to the U.S. will not be subject to tariffs while the two countries pursue an agreement.
