Taipei Metro Launches QR Code Payments
Taipei Metro riders can now enter stations using just their phones thanks to a new QR code feature. Available on nine local apps, including Taiwan Pay, the system allows contactless payments but early stats show only 0.4% of passengers used the feature on launch day.
