US authorities are investigating a Bangkok-based tech company, SiamAI, over allegations it helped smuggle advanced Nvidia AI chips into China. The case involves claims that billions of US dollars’ worth of Super Micro servers containing Nvidia chips were routed through Southeast Asia, with some possibly reaching Chinese tech giant Alibaba.
