Scholars Debate AI Opponents on Use of Tech in Policymaking
The Taiwan Foundation for Democracy has held a debate between human academics and AI opponents on the use of technology in government policymaking. The human team, which was arguing in favor of using AI to make policymaking decisions, was judged to have won. The robot side argued that AI needed strict regulations to avoid misuse. The event was moderated by cyber ambassador-at-large Audrey Tang.
