TSMC Announces Launch of 2-Nanometer Chip Process
TSMC has started mass production of its most advanced 2-nanometer (N2) process at its Kaohsiung Fab 22 facility. The company made the announcement quietly with an update on its website. It says the technology will allow it to make more efficient chips with more transistors. It comes as TSMC moves ahead with other production plans at its Arizona and central Taiwan facilities.
