A cross-party group of Taiwanese lawmakers is heading to the US. Legislative Speaker Han Kuo-yu is leading the delegation, which will visit TSMC's Arizona manufacturing base before moving on to Washington, DC for meetings with US officials and lawmakers.

Legislative Speaker Han Kuo-yu is leading a delegation of Taiwanese legislators to the US for talks with lawmakers there.
Legislators will have extensive discussions covering national security and local issues. Furthermore, the potential for deeper cooperation between the US and Taiwanese legislatures as well as future exchanges will be the main topic of discussion among lawmakers from both sides.
The group includes 3 members of the opposition Kuomintang, 3 from the ruling Democratic Progressive Party, and 1 from the smaller opposition Taiwan People’s Party.
Their weeklong trip will start with a visit to TSMC’s facilities in Arizona where they’ll also meet with overseas Taiwanese.
The group will then head to Washington, DC for meetings with US lawmakers and officials.
