China Accused of Sovereignty Violation Over Research Vessel
Taiwan has accused China of violating its sovereignty over a scientific research vessel operating in the country's exclusive economic zone. The coast guard tracked the ship off Taiwan's east coast over the past week, where China says the vessel was conducting a fisheries survey. Another Chinese research vessel was seen in the same area last month, at one point entering restricted waters.
