Ju-Jitsu Governing Body Changes IG Mention of Taiwan to 'Chinese Taipei'
The governing body for ju-jitsu in Asia has removed an Instagram post identifying Taiwan and replaced it with one using the name "Chinese Taipei." In May, the Ju-Jitsu Asian Union posted Taiwan’s national flag alongside the text "Taiwan officially registered" as part of a series highlighting countries set to compete in an upcoming championship. The organization later deleted the Instagram post and uploaded a new version referring to the team as Chinese Taipei.
