TPP's Ko Registers Solo Presidential Bid, Ending Coalition Drama
Ko Wen-je of the Taiwan People's Party has become the first opposition candidate to register a presidential election bid on the deadline day, ending drawn-out coalition drama with the Kuomintang. Ko has announced TPP lawmaker and former business executive Cynthia Wu as his running mate.
