VP Lai Ching-te: Taiwan Is Already a Sovereign State
Vice President Lai Ching-te says there is no need for Taiwan to declare independence because it is already an independent sovereign state. Lai is also the presidential candidate for the ruling Democratic Progressive Party in 2024's presidential election.
