Taiwan's VP Registers To Run For President
Taiwan's Vice President Lai Ching-te has registered to run as the ruling Democratic Progressive Party's candidate in the 2024 presidential race. He's expected to win nomination unopposed. The country will go to the polls to choose its next president on January 13, 2024.
