Taiwan’s annual Lusheng army exercises will run for 10 days this year, up from seven days last year, when the drills were first held. The exercise will focus on command and control, air-land integration and firepower coordination, and will incorporate new weapons systems. Two brigades will take part in simulated combat conditions, incorporating M1A2T tanks, third-generation field communications systems and drones in reconnaissance and attack drills.
