UK Bans Cigarettes for Younger Generation. Could Taiwan Follow?
The UK has passed a historic bill to permanently ban the sale of cigarettes to anyone born after 2008, aiming to create a smoke-free generation. While Taiwan already prohibits e-cigarettes and restricts tobacco for people under 20, the health minister says it's too early to say whether a national smoking ban would be feasible.
