Taiwan has officially become a super-aged society, with one in five people now 65 or older, intensifying the challenges of long-term care. As more seniors nurse their own elderly spouses or parents, gaps in support are pushing many to their physical and emotional limits. TaiwanPlus went to meet caregiver Ms. Huang to find out how aging caregivers struggle amid limited services and a shortage of professional care workers.
