Bloomberg: Germany and Czech Republic Denied Lai Transit Request
In a last-ditch effort to save President Lai Ching-te's now canceled trip to Eswatini, Taiwan's diplomats approached Germany and the Czech Republic to ask if his charter jet could make a rerouted transit stop after his original flight plan ran into airspace issues but the requests were denied.
