Taipei Records Hottest May Temperature
Taipei recorded its hottest May temperature on Wednesday as Taiwan’s Central Weather Administration issued heat warnings for many areas. While temperatures in Taipei reached 38.3 degrees Celsius, the highest since records began, the hottest reading was in Tainan’s Yujing District, where temperatures climbed to 39.8 degrees.
