Taoyuan Airport Asks for More Funds Amid Financial Losses
On Friday, Taiwan’s Central Epidemic Command Center reported 16 new domestic cases of COVID-19 and 51 new imported ones. Two years of the pandemic have taken their toll on Taiwan’s main international airport, which has seen passenger numbers plummet to just 2 percent of pre-pandemic levels. Louise Watt reports.
