Ocean: A "Big Mushroom" off the coast of Taiwan gives hope for coral reefs
As human encroachment and global warming kill the world's coral reefs, a 10-meter-high mushroom-shaped pore coral off the coast of Taiwan's Green Island is considered rare because it is actually growing. The largest of its kind in the world, scientists hope to study this coral as it might hold the key to regrowing damaged reefs.
