Suu Kyi Verdict Prompts Myanmar Protests
Protests have erupted in Myanmar after ousted leader Aung San Suu Kyi was sentenced on the first of many charges brought against her by the military junta. More than 10 months after the country’s generals seized power in a military coup, Myanmar’s economy has all but collapsed, and unrest is increasing. Rik Glauert reports.
