TaiwanPlus POINT: Amb. Stanton Shares How Should Taiwan Defend Itself?
As Biden Visits Asia, the U.S. and China Contend Over Taiwan Strategy? How should Taiwan defend itself? If a crisis breaks out in the Taiwan Strait, will the U.S. really send troops to defend Taiwan? He also believes that Taiwan must build alliances with other countries in Asia, and that close ties between countries would allow for stronger collective defense.
