Lin Chin-Cheng - Their Red, Youthful Days
Lin Chin-Cheng’s political enlightenment happened in a fruit stand, where he discussed current affairs with the stand owner Chang Tseng-Chuan. The innocuous conversation between Lin and Chang embroiled the two in insurgency crackdown during the White Terror, with Lin sentenced to life imprisonment. In 1975, with the passing of Chiang Kai-Shek, Lin received presidential pardon and began his search for unmarked graves of White Terror victims.
