Earth Day - Taiwan's Endemic Species
Taiwan is renowned for its biodiversity. Even with only 0.03% of Earth's landmass, you can still find 10% of the world's marine species around the island. And Taiwan also has several nicknames like "The Butterfly Kingdom" and "The Fern Kingdom." But most importantly, as an island nation, Taiwan has many unique but vulnerable endemic species.
