Family Matters: Grandma’s Mochi Legacy Ep1
A couple in their thirties left their original posts of engineers to open a mochi shop in the hopes of passing down traditional Hakka mochi. However, not satisfied with just preserving the traditional flavor, they improved on the snack with the help of a relative, who went to Japan to learn to make wagashi and incorporated wagashi-making techniques into making mochi. Their shop is decorated with photos taken by their customers on their travels around the world because they hope to spread happiness in selling mochi.
