Siku Sawmah set her mind on becoming a fashion designer when she was 13 after reading a fashion magazine. Growing up in an indigent fishing family, she managed to find her way into higher education and started her own boutique at 22. Swamah has beaten the odds, establishing her own brand and winning various awards for her fashion, perfectly blending with indigenous elements.
