Panchah (Amis) native artist Kulas hails from Lidaw, Hualien. The former electrical engineer makes art from daily life, even though the first two years after his switch were hard and went by without income. His inspiration in composites, from putting together wine bottles, coconut shells, stones, and others, eventually led to his success. Kulas applies creativity to create practical yet unique objects with an indigenous touch.
